So in other words, its only rated for diesel use and does not pass the required Ford spec.Maybe but Maverick Manual says 5W-30 unless -20F I think and while T6 meets these specs below, it doesn't list the ford spec WSS-M2C946-B1
API: CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 PLUS, CI-4, CH-4 ACEA E9, JASO DH-2, Cummins CES 20086; Volvo VDS-4.5; Detroit Fluid Specification DDC (DFS) 93K222, Caterpillar ECF-2/ECF-3, MAN M3575, JASO MA/ MA2, Allison TES 439, MB-Approval 228.31
For what it's worth I used it in all my BMW Boxer Motorcycles.
Yes sort of (some of those specs I listed are motorcycle specs based on Moly content which slips wet clutches), but more it wasn't specifically designed for it, but same result. Diesel engines require different base & modifiers based on the fuel and operating conditions that gasoline DI or otherwise injected engines. So in other words, its only rated for diesel use and does not pass the required Ford spec.
