Best brand of do it yourself ceramic coating?

Question for those who use the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions. For those who live in dusty road locations does it attract dust/dirt to the black plastic trim of our Mavericks?

Not anymore than it usually would. My 16 escape has quite a bit of the black textured plastic like along the bottom of the rockers, the fog light surrounds, around the mirrors, etc. It just gives them a deep clean look and helps keep them from "graying out" over the years. The water beads up and runs off like waxed paint. Makes it much easier to keep clean and get things like bird crap and bug guts off. and you don't have to be so ultra careful around edges and things or masking off those areas to avoid getting wax on the textured plastic like when you're waxing the paint.

The one thing Ive learned is that when wiping those plastic areas with a microfiber towel it shocks the hell out of you from the static and drives me nuts. Thats the only spots on the car I use a regular towel to wipe off the coating....doesn't seem to build up the charge like a microfiber does. Paint gets microfiber only.

Thanks - I'll get and try the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions and pick it up at Walmart. No worry about static charge in Galveston!

Gtechniq CSL. Easy on and off. I helped my daughter wash her car yesterday and it’s been better part of a year since I applied it to her car and it still looks like I just did it. Nothing sticks to it. The secret is in the prep work. Use a good rubbing compound to remove all imperfections then wash with Dawn detergent to remove all traces of wax and wipe down with isopropyl alcohol.
