My 2022 truck has developed squeak in this cold weather; I'm not sure if its a bearing somewhere or the belt, but I think its a small belt squeak. I have about 26k miles on it. Anyone else dealt with this? If so, what was the cause? The manual states maintenance is supposed to occur at 100k miles, so it should not need anything for a very long time. I need to get it in to have it looked at, but my schedule makes that such a pain in the rear.

my experience with belt slip is it happens when you rev the engine. A squeaky pully is a different sound. You don't want it to be your water pump (if that's even belt driven) or alternator, both will leave you stranded.

Yeah, the more I thought about it, the less it seemed like a belt. Ugh, gotta get it in to the dealer.

Easy diagnosis: if you have a hybrid, it's not a serpentine belt since there isn't one.
