Just 6K miles on this FX4 Lariat. I know this is common nowadays within any brand, but still... it annoys me. I own a brazilian-made Fiesta with 60K miles on it whithout any of this issues. I was expecting this maverick to surpass interior quality but I think it falls short.

lol I can definitely say this is a new one.

I don't think I've ever pushed hard enough to see if mine makes noise, but now I wanna try.

Does it make these noises while driving or something? Or if you look at it funny? Or do you have to force it? Maybe get a plastic trim tool remover and remove the panel then put it back up and see if that helps. Like retorquing suspension or steering components sometimes.

Take it to the dealer.
whish we had dealers here in Argentina like you do there. Unfortunately, dealers here don't have a clue about any vehicle they sell, and warranty is kind of debatable, I mean, they usually try to take the responsability off. We are already used to it.

Actually, you can drive leaning your arm on it, open and close the door without any squeaks. If you just put a little pressure as I did in the video, the noise appears.

Interior quality did let me down a little. Here in south america we are used to tell quality differences between south american made vehicles, and the ones that are made abroad and exported to serious markets such as USA, Europe, or JDMs as well. Since the Maverick falls into this category, the expectation was to find a better, noise-free interior compared to its south-american made rivals. But well, I guess this is the quality standard now for massive production vehicles.

Unfortunately, there's not much that the dealer can do for you. There's no getting around that it's a cheap interior. That door card plastic is fused together and there is no insulation at all between it and the metal/interior plastic under it.

I totally agree. The other doors are not making any noise when pressed somehow. Torquing door screws a little bit harder might be the only thing to try as @Montana said earlier.

Either the above suggestions or I wonder if some lithium grease behind the panel would help? Sounds like it might be 2 pieces of plastic rubbing against each other.

So did you have any luck with this? I have rattles in two of my doors that I'm going to try and tackle this weekend. I also have a new squeak coming from somewhere on the passenger side. This truck has been a real PITA so far. So many quality problems. And now I have a popping noise from the front left wheel area when I go around right turns. I'm not sure I should own this thing outside of a warranty.
