12/31/2024 - Beer of the Day

Seems necessary. Curious what Beers you all enjoy.
This is the inaugural posts, so I'll start off with a nice beer from 12/27 Last Friday's Date Night at Teresita's Le Bleu Jazz Club, Álamos Sonora Mexico.
Enjoyed a Negresíma Mexican Vanilla Stout from Punto de Unión Cervezería Cocoreña located in Cócorit Sonora Mexico.

Love the Black Bird (so black he's navy) in the Astronaut suit.

(Cócorit is a small pueblo just a few kilometers north of Obregón Sonora Mexico that has a tiny bit of colonial flare).

At home, Miller Lite. When visiting my Son in Germany, we travel to Colonge and enjoy Kolsch at Gaffel Am Dom, next to the Cathedral.

I can't drink for health reasons, but love the taste of beer! This is a Colorado NA beer that's as good an IPA as the alcohol version. Cheers!

01/01/2025 - Beer of the Day

I'll keep it rolling with another. Attended a nice dinner with music last night, 12/31/2024, at Charismas Restaurante in Álamos Sonora Mexico.
Enjoyed a Bachuculi Stout from Cervezería Yoreme located in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico.

Yoreme is a Mayo word (Mayos are an Indigenous people from very Northern Sinaloa and very Southern Sonora, closely related to the Yaquis of Sonora) that means "People who Respect Tradition"

It's a decent drop, but not as flavorable as the inaugural beer I showed yesterday. Yoreme does a decent IPA as well.

PBR guy here myself, but I also do like Labatt. I don't buy porters all too often but a brewery local to me has a really good porter they make in-house.

01/08/2025 - Beer of the Day

Another addition.
Sopa de Queso (cheese soup) last night, 1/7/2025, at the familiar Las Palmeras Restaurante in Álamos Sonora Mexico.
Enjoyed a Bohemia Vienna Oscura from Cervecería Cuauhtémoc located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

It's a dark beer, a good drink. They do decent Pilsner and Wheat Beers as well as a seasonal Noche Buena.

Founded in 1905, it was inspired by the Bohemian region of the Czech Republic.

One of my favorites when I can get it is Bofferding, it's a Luxembourg beer comes in a number of variations, I've tried the Lager Pils, Brune & Christmas, all very good, lots of flavor & very smooth.
