My 2025 XLT FX4 did not come with any liner or the storage rails. I am curious if there are any good cheaper alternatives than the Ford DIBL ($550). Does the DIBL provide better fit for custom wood dividers or is it about the same as a bare truck bed? I saw the thread where people were showing off their bed organization set ups, and I noticed a lot of people just opted for a bed mat and tailgate guard with bare sides.

I have access to a lot of Unistrut materials at work and may just build my own rails, but I wanted to figure out the DIBL/SIBL and maybe a tonneau cover before I get too far into tricking my ride out.

I am in the same boat as you are. Will most likely go ahead and have mine Line-x'd. The quote came in at $ 500.00 for regular and $ 600.00 for the premium one. It is a piece of mind for me. Already bought some additional tie downs on Amazon which I will be installing once I have the SIBL. Don't see a need for the rail as of now as the bed is quite short. The rest I will just build myself out of wood. Goold luck with yours.

Thats not a bad price especially when Ford wants 550 for their DIBL. I know Ford dealer said they could get it sprayed for me for around 800. I passed on it because I knew they had their markup in the price.

That's what I thought. It is supposed to be about twice the thickness. Get with your local Line-X or even Rhino ship and request a quote. Most of them are franchises and the cost varies.

My local dealer suggests going with Line-X instead of the factory in part due to the fact that repairs to the SIBL will match much better. The SIBL was a constraint item when I ordered my '23 XLT, so I went bareback. Since then, I put in a DeeZee #87027 Rubber Bed Mat and like it a lot. The thickness and softer surface protect cargo as much as the truck and items don't slide around much. Eventually I added the TrailFX #RFMA22TG plastic tailgate liner too. Everyone uses their truck a bit differently so one solution will never fit all.
For the side rails I considered Unistrut but eventually chose L-track. Ford's loose tolerance on hole locations in the truck and L-track's need for flat-head screws forced me to use a transfer punch to locate them precisely. It was time consuming but not too difficult. Unistrut would have been much easier in this respect. I've found myself wanting more tie-downs on the floor to secure short, heavy cargo.
