I’ve had my hybrid XLT for about 48 hours and love it so far. The only disappointment has been the bed cubby. It is very small. The only thing that fits is my window squeegee.

Did I read or see a video where the false bottom comes out and you can place something longer inside? I could be confusing one situation with another, but it might be worth a look . . . or even better, check the manual.I’ve had my hybrid XLT for about 48 hours and love it so far. That was my first thought as well lol….and those things aren’t exactly pocket sized either![QUOTE="LC48, post: 139763, member: 5794”]
A squeegee?
I have one of those blade squeegees. I can stand it up in the cubby without the false bottom. That was my first thought as well lol….and those things aren’t exactly pocket sized either!
I don’t think the pocket’s size is a big deal at all. It’s just a making some use of existing otherwise dead space sorta thing vs a purposeful major design feature. Like I’d prob just keep a couple small cargo straps and a couple bungees in there that I’d normally keep under the back seat (and maybe toss in a red rag/flag as well being such a short bed). Rarely used but really handy to have on hand when you could use em, No security concerns with that sort of cheap odds and ends, and cleanly out of the way.
Please wrap wellA bottle of Scotch will fit just fine.
That was my plan. Curious if you hear them (ratchet parts) bang around when you're driving?I put some ratchet straps and bungee cords in mine.
Cleaning windows at the pump? Or?I have one of those blade squeegees. I can stand it up in the cubby without the false bottom.
I carry an extra stack of clean red rags there to both secure my straps from bouncing around and to be used for flags, clean up, etc. I put my straps, wire, and pliers in a gallon freezer bag, then roll the rags around that bundle - so far so good. That was my plan. I don't think I have any need for the cubby. It's a bonus space. The underseat storage (even half since I've ordered a hybrid) will be plenty. Additional storage spaces are great, but for me they just accumulate crap.
