Bed 12V outlets lose of power

I have a 2026 Maverick hybrid. While installing an after market USB charging port in the bed, the wires shorted out. I had power to the wire before but I do not have power now. I checked the fuses in the fuse box(83 and 84) and they appear to be intact. I checked them with a volt meter and there is continuity in the fuse. Does anyone know what else could have caused the lose of power?
