Maybe I've just missed it, or maybe it's a setting I haven't found, but is there a screen/setting that shows the level of charge in the hybrid battery? TIA.

It's not that uncommon for a hybrid to have a battery gauge; my Fusion did. But like you mention I suspect Ford didn't feel it necessary in order to make the experience more "normal" for buyers coming from ICE only.Plug-in hybrids and EVs get a HVB state of charge readout. There’s no such display on a normal hybrid, though.
Exactly. It’s not that no one has done it but Ford currently does not. It's not that uncommon for a hybrid to have a battery gauge; my Fusion did. But like you mention I suspect Ford didn't feel it necessary in order to make the experience more "normal" for buyers coming from ICE only.
My 2016 CMax hybrid has a battery gauge. Don’t know why but I watch it.Plug-in hybrids and EVs get a HVB state of charge readout. There’s no such display on a normal hybrid, though. The closest is the EV Coach screen that’ll show you how much of the available power you’re pulling out of it.
Reason being they expect most people to just drive it without worrying about what the power train is doing. It’ll keep charging and discharging the battery as needed, there’s only so much you can do to control that.
Bottom line, they don’t expect you to care so they don’t provide it.
Yes. I use a ScangaugeIII.The battery details should be accessible via OBDII, right? Would something like a ScanGauge be able to access the details?
And if so, does anyone know of other scangauge alternatives? It's been a long time since I've used it, not sure if there are newer options now.
What are you trying to say ???????Cool, thanks. My ex-wife's Prius had an indicator that gave you a rough idea of charge; I agree no one really needs to know it, but let's admit it -- a lot of hybrid guys are bit nerdy.
