With all the misinformation swirling around at Ford, I’d be unsurprised to pull up on delivery date to this instead of what I thought I had ordered.

I'd be happy to see this over a BAP equipped Mav.

Ford really shit the bed with the bap. I know we all hoped the blue panels would be replaced but it was clear a month or so ago that wasn't the case.

I ordered the bap mostly for the headlights. It's an expensive package, definitely overpriced but it covered all the aesthetic mods I would've gotten anyway.

No regrets, really stoked to see it on a hpr.

Here's a side by side comparison of XLT with and without BAP... Makes it easier to see the differences. I agree the BAP cost isn't justified overall, but it's definitely better with than without. The biggest thing that kills me is the center console being two different colors... That's so ugly.

In my opinion the XLT interior looks much better. You do know those orange pieces in the center are just rubber and come right out.

Well it's official now, I will be calling the dealer today to change my order completely, AGAIN! I am dropping the BAP for the XLT Lux Pkg and switching colors from Cactus Gray to Black. Ford dropped the ball on this BAP no ifs ands or buts about it.

In my opinion the XLT interior looks much better. You do know those orange pieces in the center are just rubber and come right out.

Those are both XLT interiors.....

Yes I know they come out...but the orange stitching in the seats doesn't.. and the air vents/door handles aren't easy.

I was saying both BAP and non BAP have their pros and cons... not sure what you're trying to say?

If this arrived instead of my maverick, I'd be thrilled. My first car was an escort in this colour, always wished I had a GT.

When I had my Area 51 XLT I absolutely loved the interior…. It was extremely “fun”
If I was getting another XLT I would not opt for this package
Now on the Lariat side I think it’ll look good
My biggest disappointment is the Ford badges
Why are they not all black???

Mine was as well. But that was circa 2007 when both the color and styling had fallen out of fashion pretty hard. So my nostalgia on this one may be a bit different than yours

Yeah, I don't actually mind the stock XLT interior at all. It's not everyone's taste but I don't mind. I would not like the brown on the Lariat trim though, so this might would be a good compromise.

So @TpaTruck If you actually go to Hyundai's website and look at the drivetrain specs for the Santa Cruz you will see that you are incorrect..........twice apparently.
