Looking to get some mileage numbers on the AWD package with 4K tow package VS the AWD without it. Please no numbers needed from hybrids as this is not what I am ordering.

I have an AWD with 4 K tow package on order. I concidered it mostly for the bigger radiator, and auxiliary trans cooler. The differentials are a different gear ratio than the regular AWD.

If the highway MPGs are pretty drastically different I may drop the 4K tow package before this thing gets issued a vin#

What numbers are you guys n gals getting with either ?

Thanks
Matt

I’ve a lariat AWD with out 4K or FX4. Bought used with 9K miles on it so already broken in. I’ve taken 3 trips. 500miles/34mpg, 14.7gal 218 mi/36.3 6 gal and 439 mi/35.4. 12.4 gal. I’ve drive using cruise control as much as possible and very conservatively no jackrabbit starts and let off gas early for red lights, 65mph on expressway. All these trips were 90/10 highway city on combination of flat level roads and hilly country with elevation changes of 1000ft. 87 octane gas.

Ive got a 22’ XLT 4k AWD. 15k. Miles. I get 30mpg summer and so far about 27mpg winter. Winter i remote start for 15ish minutes at least once/day, plus winter tires and conditions. My driving is probably 85% highway

lariat eco with 4k package and I'm averaging 9.3L/100km. I'll let you Americans try to figure out if that is good or not :)

Or we could just highlight your Canadian maths in our browser and our internets will show us your mpg.
You're averaging 25.29 mpg right?:p

EB AWD w/ 4k.

In town 6 miles back and forth from work, I get 23.2ish. The one time I drove the highway on a 3.5 hour trip, I managed 28mpg after driving in town a couple days before the trip. Sitting at around 2100 miles now. I drive with adaptive cruise on 90% of the time.

I just added a $173 roll up bed cover before this tank of gas, looks like I might get 1mpg more due to the cover.

The ratios are 3. 47 and 3.63. So a 4.6% increase in rpm for a given speed. I doubt it's a measureable change, certainly your foot will be a bigger effect.

EB 4k AWD XLT Lux with the Scorpions.

Daily commute is roughly 15 miles 50/50 or 40/60 city/highway. Lifetime on odometer is 26.5, hand calculated is 26.2 Then we took a 6.5 hour trip to Asheville from Greenville nc then on to Johnson city Tennessee a month ago. Basically flat earth to the hills onto the mountains. Averaged 29 on first tank including over old fort mountain. Somehow managed 33 otw to Johnson city and back to Asheville 🤷🏻‍♂️ after filling up again. Then on the Trip back to Greenville got 31.6 I’m very satisfied

Meant to say my daily commute ranges 24-28 depending on how many times I wake up late for work and have to use some go juice lol

What brand of roll up cover? And how well does it fit?
