I want to know both of those things too.what's a SLT, and what's that on the kid's head in picture? Looks like either sliced bologna or a breast implant.

Doesn't void warranty right?I installed a start/stop eliminator from www.4dtech.com so I don't have to push the button every time I start the truck.

I was told it doesn't.
I think if ford engineered it in the truck and other vehicles it's more beneficial than detrimentali turn mine off every time. i can't imagine the slight savings in gas outweighs the constant start/stop of the starter and battery and everything involved in starting the engine many times vs just starting once per ride.
but i could be wrong, i'm no mechanic but would love to hear others thoughts.
Beneficial to who though?I think if ford engineered it in the truck and other vehicles it's more beneficial than detrimental
That's what I meant. More beneficial for the consumer and their fuel economy.Beneficial to who though?
They are trying to hit EPA numbers.
That being said, I think it saves me more gas than most people believe.
Engineering explained on YouTube has a video that talks about the benefits and even if I get a tune I'll probably leave the feature enabled.
