And the difference in settings can make a slight difference in results.

Were all doors unlocked when you got in, or only drivers door?
Were all doors unlocked when driver got out, or only drivers door?
Did you drive over 5 mph to lock all the doors, or slow to mailbox so it never happened?
The slight difference in results makes people think their situation was different.

Now I can't even recall what the default settings are for all door unlock - the single-press fob unlock, or double-press required?
Unlock all on on driver door open, or not?
And did 25MY change some of those defaults?
Shoot, first recall software update reset some of my option settings. I think tail light issue.
I know I went thru and put some back the way I wanted. Over a year ago - I don't remember.
Well one setting I know for sure… you can set the key fob to unlock just the drivers door with one push or all four door doors with one push. If you have it set to do the driverā€˜s door one push ….two pushes opens the other three. If it is set for one push unlock to open all four…. then of course, just one push is needed on the unlock button on the fob.

And sometimes when you get out, your index finger hits the little lock button and all the doors lock. After I determined I was the locking problem, I trained myself not to lock the door(s) when exiting. You can teach an old dog a new trick. It only takes one psychatrist to change a light bulb, but the light bulb has to really want to change.
