The local dealer only has an XL on the lot. The XL has an amazing level of equipment and quality for a base truck. But, the sound system is terrible.

Everyone, including Ford's online product support, seems to think that the 6 speaker system is the same across all the models; with the B&O being the only different system. $30,864-21,490 is a $9,374 audio upgrade!

Trying to see if anyone has any different information.

Mods feel free to delete this thread if it is useless (obvious based on the order guide)

Scroll down to "compare models" button, then "entertainment systems". You'll see the audio system is identical on all base trims of the Maverick, but only the Lariat gets the option to upgrade the audio and infotainment.

XL vs XLT vs Lariat in that order:

The only thing better about the Larit's b&o system is it has sync 3 for the head unit touch screen. Other than that the b&o upgrade is no upgrade if you enjoy listening to music.
