Interesting. I wonder when they expect to start producing 23's and have all the 22's produced.
Probably around August/September when they started production unless they stretch to October to sync with the Bronco Sport MY changeover.

Eh, I'm not stressed. Current vehicle is running fine, and it seems they have all kinds of order restrictions and what not anyway. 2023 model will have better resale being a model year newer, and hopefully they make some improvements to address known bugs with the '23 MY.

PER FORD REP TODAY - AFTER 11/15, YOU WILL NOT ABLE TO PLACE A NEW HYBRID ORDER UNTIL SUMMER OF 2022 AS A 2023 - IF YOU WANT TO ORDER A HYBRID, GET YOU ORDER IN B4 11/15

Maybe in the US, not so in Canada. In any event I want to wait for the AWD hybrid.

Based on my bronco reservation - there will be at least 20% of MY22 Hybrid orders that get converted to MY23 (likely without price protection).

Don't expect an AWD Hybrid for $24k. Ford won't cannibalize and undercut Escape sales like that. If anything - it will be a huge package and push the price closer to $30k.

I sold my F150 two weeks ago we we are down to one car and my 65 Mustang.

My wife drives the Accord to work and I do not drive the Mustang anywhere that I can not keep my eyes on it, so we are really down to one car.

So far so good.

Can I keep it up until my hybrid Maverick shows up?

Of course walking is good exercise. ;)

Wonder if any of us, like me who ordered Monday, will get a different model year? lol.

If you have placed an order already, it will be a 2022 model. Only orders placed in the summer for hybrids will be for 2023 models.

If walking and a bicycle don’t work you could maybe get a bus pass. You can surely hold out a few months

WTF??? I attempted to order the Hybrid on 10-22-21. Salesman said they were out. Ford website in that day said Hybrid Engine had low availability. I opted for the EB instead. I’ll likely drive just past the bumper to bumper warranty within the first year due to work mileage. I’ll likely trade it in for a hybrid at the end of year one.
