Well, if the CEO of Ford is pessimistic that my truck will be built, I guess it is time for me to be pessimistic as well.

I kind of would like to know where they got this $3500 increase from for the 24MY. I understand that it should go up some, but $3500 seems very high when not much changed. If you use the Ranger for a template, there is some bias as it just got off a refresh for this year, and it added more tech and such even on the base model. The Maverick isnt having like anything changed... 3500 seems way too high...I hope.

Thin air. It's just a hypothetical example.

"A Ford order scheduling spreadsheet in the same thread as above at Maverick Truck Club predicts Ford will complete all of the EcoBoost builds by July . . ." I ordered an Ecoboost at the very end of the window in September, but my dealer recently suggested that there is little chance that my order will be filled. He said they ordered twenty-something mavericks and have only gotten in around 5. I think that they always had little confidence in my getting my order. They didn't even ask for a deposit, and when I asked them to change a few items on my order they claimed to not know how to do so. If my current vehicle continues to hold up, I may try again for the 2024. I chose my current dealer because they were asking for a lower ordering fee than the one closest to me, and another one I had started to go with said that they couldn't take any more orders. I'd appreciate advice on how to choose a dealer the next time around.

33% (1 of every 3) orders will not be fulfilled. Did I read this correctly?

Damn, that is insane. But not as insane as the Bronco Raptor price increase. We ordered ours in March of this year for $86k and change, now it will cost us over $94K to get it.

If they really increase it by $3500 that is just insanity. For that price, you can get the Santa Cruz (comparing fully loaded top trim models) that has a much nicer interior, more features (green paint, 360 camera, ventilated seats, fully digital cluster, etc), no fire hazards and better warranty lol

That price increase would totally kill the value for the Maverick.
