I think the full-size pickup is just a default answer to many folks' mind when it comes to wanting/needing a truck.I was told similar by someone whom I told i orderd this pickup. "well if you want to do work with a truck you should get a powerstroke, anything less is just pointless". yea thanks mr rockefeller and napoleon complex. I dont need a super large truck.
Sure there are plenty out there that work their big trucks and get the value and capability they need, but there are just as many that don't tow or haul anything more than sailboat fuel.
Same here. I've had everything from a CCLB F-250 to a regular cab Nissan hardbody pickup. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I'm hoping the Maverick will be the perfect meld.none of them ride well or get decent gas mileage so I sell them and end up buying another one looking for the perfect "one" to fit my needs at the time.
I'm hoping the Maverick is that perfect combination of comfort/gas mileage/utility that has always eluded me in the past.
