Why, yes, they really are.

I go out to my stand-alone garage every night to make sure both of my cars are locked and the garage door is secure. I lock the car doors one right after the other and I promise you, the Mav with Las-Fit LED bulbs light up the garage way more than the RAV4 with stock bulbs. I don't know if my brighter lights will prevent some brain-dead guy from slamming into my backend but it certainly takes away his whiny excuse. I honestly don't remember, or really care, what the bulbs cost but I feel good every night when I say nighty-night to my cars.

I totally recommend the Las-Fit LED bulbs.

I have the newer version of the switchbacks being delivered today. I do like the bright turn signals, on the ones that I got a month ago during the prime day sale. I bought the newer version with the hopes of them fixing hyperflashing that some folks have run into.

I replaced my turn signal lamps with these and I swear I could probably drive at night with only my parking lights on!

Glad they updated this set. I may switch to them down the road if the overheating/hyperflashing bothers me more. But I'm sure the rest of you that have the originals will attest to the fact that the turn signal lights up an entire 6 lane intersection at night.😁

I agree, I too almost feel like the turn signals are too bright - at night I can see them reflecting off of street signs.

I installed the newer switchback version last night. The white light looks about the same and unfortunately signals are dimmer than the older switchbacks. Was tempted to put in the OEM halogens just to try and compare.

I prefer the brighter ones because folks where I’m at are always looking their phones while driving. Need something to get their attention

I love these on my truck. I know some have said they are too bright. But being a cyclist and also recognizing how shitty most drivers are I am happy to have bulbs that make it easy to see me

I noticed that too, updated set lists 30 minutes before hyperflash, old ones between 2 - 7 minutes I think. Guess the reduced output also helps with overheating. Might swap at some point, wish I would have waited a month.
