Anyone Successfully Build Tremor Order?

Any updates from anyone?

Just got off the phone with my salesman at Long McArthur. They’re still not able to put in the Tremor order yet. So he put in Lariat build for now so that he can change it once it opens.

I tried yesterday 9/16 with Andy Morh in the Indy region. Was not satisfied with their level of knowledge on the product. Friend of mine suggest Estes in the same region. Much more knowledgeable. Seemed to have their own processes and work rounds for any ordering issues - and I even got to test drive a 22 Maverick which I hadn’t even had the chance to do. Very pleased with Estes.

I pre-ordered an XLT with the awd/eco boost engine, cactus gray, moonroof, manual rear windows, spray in bed dealer install, tremor package 17V. Much like everyone else’s experience they couldn’t order with the tremor package today either. So I submitted a pre order without it. If by end of Monday they can’t get it with the tremor. I’ll likely switch to fx package with 4k and solar orange. Again I was very pleased with my second experience.

I went back today, sat ,9/17. I saw on here that orders will be closed and decided not to wait till next week. The dealer tried. He got info, made the choices, but couldn't get a preview printout that showed my actual price. It had some pop-up that said something would get fixed later today. I told him to order it soon as he could get into the system. I am ordering the xlt with 400 watt inverter, and hot red pepper paint.

I don't think you can change an order to Tremor.

Granger just rolled over my XLT FX4K. Same order except the blue change. Monday we will change it to a red tremor and drop the splash guard and floor mats.

I just got back from my dealer as well.
Same story as @AUDIOZONE - They can build it, but not print the preview with an error (this was at 3:30PM Eastern).

I am considering replacing my aging Mustang with a 2nd Maverick. I love my FIrst Ed. Hybrid a lot, but I want one that can be used and abused a bit more, so considering Tremor or a Lariat with 4KTow (cant get 4KTow with Tremor )

I don't think you can change an order to Tremor.

You should be able to. I mean the salesman at Long McArthur is the one handling it. If it couldn’t be done, I don’t think he would’ve placed it like he did.

Just went to the second dealer who also is saying that they can’t actually transmit the orders in the system even though it’s supposed to be able to. The manager who’s been there for 15 years said that sometimes their IT department will get it squared away we leave in the evening. So they are going to keep trying to submit it but most likely nothing will happen until Monday.

My sales rep in the central Indy area told me midweek like Wednesday is more likely. I’m in the same boat. I’ve got an XLT ordered but no tremor. They’re going to keep trying. By Tuesday if no success I’ll likely update to the fx4/4k tow instead which is nice back up plan because you get most of what the tremor would offer outside of some key features and the color pallet availability increases. Probably go with Solar orange or whatever it’s named.

Yeah I’m just concerned on missing the boat on the Tremor because Ford apparently is telling dealerships that they can only build 3% of anticipated orders. So if you ain’t first, you last!!

Wow man that sucks. Looks like I’m calling Tuesday to switch to the fx4

No! My dealer says they cannot find the Tremor package in the order system but mine will be the first one ordered once they are able to do so.
Get your act together Ford!!!

It is a supersets body code W8G. It is showing today but we still can't submit it. We can save it but not submit it.

Evening/Morning Tim. I just want to say that Kyle Davis is a really great salesman. He and I just spoke this evening about saving the 2 orders (mine and my father-in-law’s) to include the Tremor. He said the same as you about only being able to save but not submit. I only hope that Ford allows the Tremor to be submitted prior to closing the order banks. If they do not, it would be a complete crap show for all of us that really wanted the Tremor, especially in Avalanche Grey!
