Anyone having issues replacing Sparkplugs in the Hybrid models?

Try twisting the coil pack to break the boot free from the plug before pulling it off and make sure to apply dielectric grease to the inside of the boot before reassembling.

The spring is usually just a 'floating' spring, in most cases simply applying pressure for the connection at both the plug end and the coil end. You should be able to gently twist it off the plug, push it back into the boot, and re-install onto the new plug.

If the spring appears burnt or damaged, it should be replaced. These aren't old enough to really warrant replacing the entire coil pack, however they're up around 10 years (+/-) expect to do so. The epoxy filling tends to crack, allowing moisture to intrude, resulting in coil pack failure. Had two of them on my Subaru Outback have that issue, just a few months prior to my Maverick being scheduled for production. - If you've ever worked on a H6 engine, you learn what a difficult plug/coil is. By comparison, even having the spring be retained by the plug is still a cake-walk.

I would think the plugs would be good for 100000 because the engine dosn"t run as much as a eco engine
