To be through, instead of assuming, put a one of those temp/ humidity gauges on the back seat and verify. Here a six pack. Probably not highly accurate but should give an idea and you can put it all over the vehicle.

I'm one of the people that wishes I could buy a loaded vehicle with manual HVAC. Don't care about inside temp, just the air hitting me coming out of the vents.

Great idea. Thanks for posting. I like that these would blend in also. Coincidentally, I ordered a temp/humidity sensor just last night but the size and quantity of these are a definitely plus...Looks like I'll have them Wednesday! Thanks again for the link.

Best Regards

I didn't feel like waiting for OP to respond. Just did a 45 minute trip in damn near identical weather to OP. I set my auto-climate control at 68 degrees with full fan speed. My vehicle reached normal operating temperature (4 bars) and had ample time to heat the cabin to desired temp.

As expected, the ambient temperature on the front seat of my vehicle (with the thermometer on top of a hat that came from inside) was only 64 degrees despite the temperature for the auto-climate control set at 68, and the the fan speed reducing well before this

Climate was set to 68, full fan speed, temp outdoors was 37 degrees

Air temp from the vent (which wasn't actually blowing - most heat was coming out from the windshield defroster - in the 80s).......was...........77 degrees

I'd say OPs HVAC is functioning as normal and if sweating it out is a problem - turn off the heated seats, wheel, and auto-climate and turn your air temp down manually.

It is easy to set it manually and turn the air to as cold as it will blow, and it will blow cold especially in the winter.

Yes, and to add to this, it's a poorly insulated tin can with lots off glass.
I personally always use the bottom vents and sometimes defrost for heat and just adjust fan speed and temp as needed. Fan speed is very important too.

SAME HERE.
I don't want some damned AI crap with a million sensors trying to figure out what I want. What I really want is to be able to control the HVAC myself.

I find myself having to fiddle with this supposedly smart HVAC system a whole lot more than I ever did with the manual controls in my basic Subaru. This stupid truck won't even remember that I had the floor vents on, the last time I drove it.

Greetings all,

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the climate controls going into overdrive...Much too cool for dialed in settings when it's hot (90+ degrees) outside, and much too hot for dialed in settings when it's cold (-40 degrees) outside.

I've placed a few videos below from my commute this morning (01-08-2024) in Raleigh, NC. This always happens when temps dip below 40 degrees here in NC so I thought I'd capture it, and sweat it out, on my commute today. Has anyone here experienced this and had it resolved through Ford?

Thank You!

Hi, Brandon! Are you still experiencing this climate control concern? If so, I would like to look into it on my end. Please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer.

I am experiencing a similar issue. Heat works just fine, but the "Auto" setting doesn't do a very good job of maintaining the set temp. If you bring yours in to the dealer, and they have a fix for this, I would be interested.
