I almost always disable the stop/start feature on my 2023 2.0 Ecoboost, because I don't like it. How, I left it enabled a couple of times to test it, and it never activates. The display shows a message "disabled dye to vehicle charging", or something similar. Has anyone else see similar...
I got this from Ford dealer, it's free of charge. Cut off the belt, and inserted the buckle. Problem solved.

Is it going to be possible to swap in the new 13" screen from the 2025 Maverick? I want the upgrade, but only if it's supported and warrantied by Ford.
If Ford would make offer the screen upgrade as a dealer option, I would pay to get it done. That's really the only thing that I want in my 23. vs 25. Everything else I could do myself, if I choose.
I don't disagree. However, I just feel it isn't worth that much. The Maverick does not have a $40K interior, not even close. It's barely a $30K interior, and I am OK with it at that price. For $40K, I expect higher quality plastics, and soft touch on the dash. Look at the Santa Cruz interior...
I believe they will drop in the 2.3L engine in a year or two, so I wouldn't pull the trigger on this. Even if I am incorrect, there's not enough here to justify the price.
I was considering upgrading my 2023 Lariat to get the new tech, bigger screen, etc. But then I realized as you did, that a Ranger is not much more. 35K for a Maverick is OK, 45K, pass.
2023 Lariat, 2,900 miles. Mine has looked exactly the same since I brought it home. I think it's just the way it is on the steering knuckle. Surface rust only, not concerned about it. I was going to get some rust conversion paint to take care of it at some point.
Only because a Ford specialist will be familiar with the common issues. Also, will know what the real service intervals are for things like PTU and Transmission.
