I'm going to pick up my Maverick tomorrow (finally) and I'm shopping my finance options. Has anyone bought in California lately? What was the Ford credit offer?

Thanks,

Ford used to have financing info on their site. Regardless, you should be checking with other options besides Ford. Credit unions usually have lower interest rates for financing vehicles.

Ford is extremely high. Mine was 11% which didn't matter since I paid it off right away. They gave me a discount if I financed it thru Ford Credit. No penalty for early payoff so I went with it. I normally go thru PFCU for auto financing.

I was going to say the same thing. Credit Unions offer excellent financing.

Wow, when I picked up my Mav in Sept. 22 Ford was offering 0% for 3 years, up to 2.9% for 4 or 5 years, plus $300off of sticker! Holy cow the world has changed. Either way, hope you like your (almost) new truck to be!

When my MY2023 order arrived, I checked with my two credit unions, Navy Federal and Penfed. On a Sunday I submitted two applications and was approved for both. Went to the dealer, picked up the sales contract, drove to PenFed since it was closer and was back at the dealer within an hour. The rate was 2% less than Ford Credit.

My MY2022 Hybrid was financed through Ford Credit at a special rate of 2.9%. I have had terrible luck trying to make payments to Ford Credit. After a few months, the Ford Credit site stopped working on my main laptop. The Ford Credit Tech told me to delete ALL my cookies or try another computer. The second computer worked for two months, then it locked up that computer. I got on with a third computer and signed up for automatic monthly payments, which is working for Ford. I like to make extra payments but at 2.9%, I will put the extra cash into TBills that pay 5.35%.

Enjoy your new truck!

When I picked mine up in January Ford was offering 9.9%.
Had offers from USAA and PennFed for ~6.5%
