I use a (heavily modified) Ender 3 Pro, but a regular Ender 3 or Ender 3 V2 are plenty capable. The V2 is nicer out of the box while the 3/Pro are simpler in a way that makes them a bit easier to upgrade.

There's Ender 3 clones like the Biqu B1 that also seem like a good bit of kit out of the box although I don't have direct experience with it.

I've got a pair of 3D printers:

Fortus 250mc - an industrial workhorse of years gone by, I got it nearly new and run it all the time. Even though it is an older machine, it works so well that I often find myself doing prints for my day job (in aerospace) because of how accurate it is. These days I run custom filament cartridges and mostly print in ABS and ASA (a UV resistant plastic similar to ABS). Occasionally I'll break out my carbon fiber ABS but it's usually overkill.

Raise3D N2 plus. Prints in PLA (do not recommend for being in a vehicle due to heat), ABS, ASA, PC/ASA hybrid, PETG, TPU.

That all having been said I generally print in 3 shades: black, grey, or white. Though I can source other colors if there is enough interest.

How easy is it to sand smooth, primer and paint. I am very interested in you making maverick parts for me off thingiverse if your so inclined. How strong is the carbon fiber? Some of these pieces might benefit from its strength. You could probably print out a glock lower reciever with it lol. Please PM me on here if interested. I will send you screen shots of the pieces I would like to have made. I also saw these neat under rear seat dividers at Etsy that I think are 3D print made.

Thanks
Matt

Just for grins and because I have a little time, I made a fitting out of flat stock PVC. For anyone who does not have a 3D printer but just has to have something in that FITS slot, this is an option, I guess. Bolt what you want onto it. It fits very snugly. I have absolutely nothing I want or need in them so whatevs.

I just got my Maverick and am looking to do some printing of interior accessories. Thanks for sharing your work here.
Curious if anyone's designed/printed new items in the last couple years?! Would love hear what you made and what's worked best for you!

I have a printer but haven't done anything in some time. All I ever worked in was PLA and I worry about how it would handle being in a hot vehicle over time. This morning, I reverse engineered a FITS attachment that I think I might end up using to make a resin prototype with some sort of universal attachment plate for screws probably so anyone can mount anything they want to a generic resin FITS attachment. Then pretty much anything you can make or buy can be married to the FITS system.
PLA will not work in any hot area. hot being 99 degrees or above.
PETG or ABS. PETG is easier to work with.
