Heres a 3D printing idea I am working on with a new member here. New member like as of yesterday. It's a Fits slot trash can with a twist. The top that locks the bag in has 2 tapered open bottom holes for drink cups. Perfect for leaky cups, or to stick trash through to go into the trash can below. So it's a cup holder / trash can. He is going to use maverick interior blue plastic filament for this. I think he said operating temp is up to 500°F so it wont distort in a hot vehicle The trash can is long enough that it rests on the carpet so it doesnt put pressure on the slot, and is low enough that the power ports can still be accessed.

He also has a center console tray available and a front trash can. I am going to buy all 3 of these items. The console tray is going to be in that orange on the XLT. Sending him the link so he can chime in if he wants to. I think just 1 of these parts takes about 10 hours to make. Thank you sir for putting up with my craziness when designing that rear trash can.

Thanks
Matt

Like the console tray. If I ever get my truck I will be interested in one of those.

Yeah, these are made out of PETG material, which is very heat tolerant. I printed the first one out of PLA and it definitely melted in the Texas heat.

The console tray takes about 11 hours to print, the front trash can takes over a day. The rear one, given multiple pieces involved, will take 2+ days to print.

Here's a link to my thread that includes the thingiverse links to anyone wanting to print their own. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ash-can-console-tray-cubby.16149/#post-309919

I like the cup holder trash can idea
I am excited for this. When it gets printed I cant wait to see it. Something I came up with as an idea. Trentobean is the cool guy bringing it to life for me.
