Anybody add cd player yet ?

Working at a dealership I found out that alot of people are seeking a CD player, and Ford phased them out and ruled them "old technology". To my surprise pre-millennials have to have it and since it's not an option I just refer them to an external cd player which plugs in to the USB port and you can even change the songs from your steering buttons. It is powered by the same USB and with all the room you have in your Maverick you can pretty much mount it anywhere. The player works fine even if it's mounted in a weird position. Amazon has it for $249 but good ol Walmart still has in on sale

Sheesh. What a waste of money. You could get a 256GB thumb drive for $30 and hold the equivalent of 2000 CDs.

I have a spare 8-track player if you need it.

I still have about 50 or so 8track tapes in a box & more vinyl than any two people could carry!

Back in the day, Sony allowed you to "daisy chain" 10 Cd changers together to have 100 disks... I was rolling big time with that. Give me my digital music, please.

The last vehicle I bought that came with a CD player was MY 2016. I’ve never played a CD in it.

MY BMW and Porsche both have CDs, and never used the players.

I don’t need a CD player. I will be adding an eight track player. I will be able to store all the 8track tapes under the rear seat. Finally I will be able to hear all the classics again.

My years ago are back in about 1959. I remember being at A & W Root beer in Cedar Springs Michigan. The car beside me had a 45 record player. Every time the girl skated by he would start the record with "She's neat". Of course, they skipped a lot on gravel roads and were pretty useless unless you found a quiet place to neck.
