I am looking to add 1 or 2 bed storage cubbies NZ6Z60286A72A

It's been almost a 2 year wait for my hybrid and I want to know if there is anything of concern with adding two cubbies on the hybrid ?

If I recall correctly I think if you ordered a 2023 Lariat without the lux package you got two cubbies so I don't see why it would be a problem.

I have a 2023 XLT hybrid and added the second cubby on the driver side with zero problems. Your part number is correct (NZ6Z-60286A72-A). The only thing you might need is an extra couple of M6 bolts because the cubby uses 6 and the OEM cover just 4. I was able to find black ones with washers that aren't a perfect match but close enough that nobody else would notice. In my case, I chose to add a fused lighter socket to the forward wall (rear facing) so I could see it when standing behind the open tailgate. In this particular case, I had to install the cubby and THEN insert the socket because of the way the cubby slips in. All good, and pretty simple. Go for it!

I have a drop-in bed liner which covers the screws so black ones weren't required. I got "silver" ones at Lowes.

I installed both 110v & 12v connectors in the passenger side cubby.
As noted by MetalsGeek, if you want to install connectors, get the ones that screw in from the outside so they can be installed after the cubbies are installed.

I also installed key locks in both cubbies.

Ditto. 2023, added drivers side pocket without issue, Advance Auto had the couple of extra black, washered bolts I needed, 28 cents each, sold as singles, don't have to buy a pack, called body bolts. If by chance you're going to add the modular bed liner, you really don't even have to mess with a couple of extra bolts. The holes will be covered by the liner.

I would love to see more info on your cubby locks. I made some faux locks that use the ignition key (3.0 x 5.5 mm) like a screwdriver. I figured that the plastic door was not all that secure anyway. LOL

I have one last item of general info unrelated to this post. Everyone should be aware that the other fasteners used in the truck (bed tie-downs, tailgate cover plate, etc) are Torx PLUS, not legacy Torx fasteners. You can get by with Torx tools, but increase the odds of buggering up your bolts. I bought the Neiko 10086A 6-point Torx Plus bit set for $28 at Amazon.

Here is the lock I bought for the passenger side.

The one on the driver side was a similar tool box lock that I had stored in a drawer for years.

The locks fit into a 3/4" hole. When you take the plastic locks out, you will see that there is a 3/4" diameter wall around the hole. I carved the inner circle out to the 3/4" diameter. Some members have used a 3/4" step drill. I don't have one that large. If you carve it out, you can leave flats on the sides of the holes to fit onto the flats on the sides of the locks. This prevents the lock from spinning.

Where you able to get a cover for underside of cubby for drivers side? I have a 2023 XLT and it is wide open to the ground.

I do have plans to close that area with a sheet of plastic but have not yet done so.
