I love my 2022 XLT with all my options. Tossing around ordering a 2024 just to say eff it. Wonder how much I could profit if I end up just wanting to flip it. Seems like a hassle but not sure how much I could net.

Anyone happy with their truck but thinking of ordering the 24 weather they will take it or not??? Maybe make a few bucks?
I'm happy with my '22 Lariat Lux Hybrid. I am considering a '24, but only if it makes financial sense, like 'walk out the door with money in my pocket' sense

Candidly, the '22 Lariats are better equipped than the '24s.

What features would I lose?
  • LCD Temperature readout for climate control
  • Keypad on door pillar
  • Windshield wiper de-icer
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel.
  • Wi-fi hotspot modem (haven't used it, but it's there)
  • Body-colored mirror caps
  • Other?

What features would I gain?
  • Touchscreen Navigation
  • Lumbar support for driver seat
  • 2 more years of factory warranty
  • The hope that I make a little profit off my current truck.
I think I got all of the differences listed. If I missed something, let me know.
For about $300, I might buy and install an APIM module that includes navigation.
If I do that, what makes the 24 better than what I currently have?
Nothing.

I’m moving to New Mexico, may leave my Mav in Hawaii… of course I still haven't received my Maverick here yet. I'm told it's two more weeks. of course I still haven’t received my Maverick here yet. I’m told it’s two more weeks.

Nope, no '24 order for me. My '23 XL is scheduled for production next month. If for some reason it doesn't get built, I'm done. One ride in this order rodeo is enough!

I was planning on ordering a 2024 Lariat as I sold my other vehicle. Found a 2023 lariat with only 1800 miles on it and dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse to trade in my 2022 XLT and drive it home that day. The upgrade was what I wanted and got to test drive it first. Yes it was a bit more than the 24 I was going to order, but I have it now.

Enjoy your truck! I love my 1st edition! I looked at, and played with the 24 build and dont really like the options. The colors are pretty plain too.

yes! went to 2 different dealers today and placed orders for an XL hybrid cactus gray, hitch....and an XL ecoboost Atlas blue, AWD 4k tow. Currently have a 2022 mav XLT hybrid cactus gray, 360, hitch with 36k miles, averaging 40.2 MPG over the life of it. Will sell my 2022 when one of my 2024's come in. Not sure which I will keep of the 2024's or both...would be nice to have the hybrid for the incredible city MPG and the eco for highway and trailering...

Went from a 22 xlt to a 23 xlt lux. They only thing they could have done to get me into a 24 would have been to add eruption green.

Plus we also got a bronco sport, and I feel like I’m going crazy with the amount of cars I’ve bought in the last year 🤣

Nope.

I now have three Mavericks, so I'm good for the next decade. No keypad is an issue, as is the price increase.
just ordered 2 and the keypad is available on boththe xlt tremor and the lariat with black package

Don't know about making a few bucks, lol. Doubtful. Have had my 23 a year and couldn't be happier. I waited nearly 11 months for my 23 Hybrid Lariat, because l ordered every single option from sunroof and trifold to front film, 360 etc. All the things that might have delayed the order. Drove it from Miami (where l ordered it because L.A. dealers wanted 5k to 10k over) to Key West and then to Los Angeles right after pick-up. First, l hate the new front "U" bumpers ( even though l am a Miami Hurricanes graduate, lol)...a lot... and also don't like the lower front body chrome surround look either. Second, the AWD hybrid is not important for me in L.A. Already have gone to snow where it was fine and l won't trade the great mileage for AWD. Third, l have it in silver which is my favorite color and it's not available for 24/25. Last, l have a great little truck (with keypad) which will likely be with me for a decade, so what's the point?

IMO, Ford removed the one fantastic feature they've been known for, for like 45 years now, the factory built-in wired keyless door keypad. Forcing customers to a cheap battery powered ugly stick on black blob that stands out like a sore thumb that the batteries can't be replaced so owners will have to purchase a whole new one. Stupid move Ford!!!
