Any '23 Hybrid Maverick Hesitantcy?

I've seen countless threads on this forum as well as the several FB Maverick Pages about the Hybrid Maverick issues. Whether it's the "Deep Sleep" or "Bad solder harness". Is there any hesitation to order a 2023 Maverick Hybrid when order banks open? Does anyone think the issues will be resolved when '23 production kicks off?

No hesitation. I believe that issue is already being resolved. Several reports of a delivery hold on Mavericks to check / fix the wiring harness. Ford is aware of it and its not an engineering change just a part defect so I would think any builds as of now will not have the issue.

Doesn't mean something else won't show up but I think the issue with the 12v battery not getting charged is not going to be an issue much longer.

Any issue regarding to this will 100 percent be resolved for the 23s. There will probably be a recall for us 22s. Tbh I'm quite shocked this is the first one for the hybrid. And it's really not a massive design/engineering issue.

I am going to order 2 of them, I own 1 and its great 50+mpg, quietest vehicle i have owned. great ride, easy to park, decent stereo, minimum problems so far.

No issues with my 22, so I wouldn’t be hesitant to get a 23 if it has enough upgrades over mine such as awd. (but betting it will just be color changes)

I’m hesitant because I was consumed with watching and waiting and checking on my MY22 order only to find my order vanished 8 months in. I’m concerned that it’s going to consume a 2nd year of my life only to again end in disappointment.

I'm looking forward to the change over to a MY '23. Not only because I'm sure some "growing pains" quality issues will be resolved but, after 10 long months it will feel like I'm actually doing something.
That said, I've talked with over half a dozen Maverick owners and they all love their truck and they've had no mechanical problems when I asked them.
So. Even if i would miraculously get my
MY '22 delivered i would still be so happy.
