Anti - theft Alarm System

I came home with my fully loaded Lariat over the weekend and discovered the alarm system wasn't working. When I reached out to my dealership, they suggested it's an add on. I assumed it would come standard on the top of the line model for which I paid a little north of 38k. Now I'm feeling stupid if I assumed too much after doing a fair bit of homework on the truck before buying. I'm wondering if anyone knows more precisely whether it is supposed to come standard or not with any of the Maverick models. I love the truck either way but a bit puzzled.

Just FYI, SecuriLock listed as a standard feature on the window sticker for my upcoming (at some point) XL.

Any idea if the perimeter system has to be activated by the dealer? If so it may have slipped through the cracks and mine is 7 hrs away out of state.

You have single handedly solved my issue. I can't thank you enough and I'm sure my salesman feels the same way since he wasn't sure either. He knows now though. Thanks man.

To be clear, interior sensors are not activated unless you have the Perimeter Plus add-on. Yes, the door handles will activate the alarm but the motion, inclination, etc sensors are not enabled even on the most fully loaded Mavericks.

Are you, or anyone else, seeing the following setting on your Maverick? I have Lariat with every option -FX4 and this is not a menu item that I see. The following is from the "If Equipped" Anti-Theft Alarm on page 85 of the manual.

I have a Lariat like yours and don't have that alarm option either.
