It's that fibermat sheets that aren't really geared towards under a headliner (seems like there would be waste).

I was gonna do it under the headliner when I get to that in a few months but resonix just released their fibermat 45 which will be going under there, then second skin luxury liner pro for under the floor

I actually talked to Nick the owner of resonix, and he was that recommended the fiber mat 45 as long as I can fit it under, and areas where that won't fit it will be fiber mat 25. Nick is a genius when it comes to sound proofing or just doing basic stuff

Did you take any before and after sound measurements?
I did not just due to it being my personal vehicle and me doing it regardless. The little bit I have done has helped with road noise but I know once I do the floor and roof will be a massive differenc

I can definitely do that for you, it will most likely be happening over Christmas time as my work gives me about a week off during that time

Any updates?
Not yet sadly, waiting on some equipment and for me to make up my mind and how much money I'm really wanting to spend on top of what I spent already.
Next month I will be bring my truck to David at sound express in cedarhill to install the amps, dsp, front speakers and some custom made brackets for the tweeters as they are much to big to go in factory location on my component set (since I'm not going to a 3 way I did some beastly tweeters that can go pretty low so I don't have to cross my mid bass to high and have some weird beaming issues)

That's me honestly being super picky and OCD doing the buy once cry once route lol.
I will be building the box myself I've decided after seeing how awesome a lot of the people on here have done and want to try it out, really hoping I can fit my subs if not I got a few some awesome 8's in mind

Nice. Looking forward to seeing some pics! I’m thinking about building my box also. My truck is getting built next week so hoping to have it by December but we’ll see. I’ve seem a few people get a 10 under the seat. Not sure what cu ft their sub requires but mine requires .5 cu ft so it’s a decent size box for the limited space under the seat

What are you thinking about using to build your box, I'm going back and forth between fiberglass and 3/4 mdf or a combination between the two.
That's awesome your truck is finally being built, you'll love it when you get it, I'm loving mine alot more then I thought I would to be honest.
I'm really hoping to fit my 10's as I don't want to buy more lol. But I'm taking the bins out to try and get that .6, that's also the reason of thinking about fiberglass since I would get more room

I would definitely take out the bin for more space. If I was building I would do 3/4 mdf but also been thinking about just seeing what it would cost to have someone build just the box for me depending what the cost would be. Not sure if im going to be able to make the box I need for my sub and if I were to just buy a 8” Sub as that would be easy for me to build that box and then a sheet of mdf it might be around the same to just have a custom box built for my 10.

I'm definitely thinking that direction as well for both, mdf seems to be more easy to work with. You should definitely try out some cardboard and try some stuff out but might as well get some quotes, you never know you might find a steal
