I've had Android Auto working well for months now. Suddenly there is no "Exit" button included on the AA apps screen. It was there for 2-3 months prior. I checked settings, checked for firmware updates, nothing. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

If there is another way to exit AA I'd love to hear it, because currently when it's active, I'm stuck in it.

Mine just updated this morning, and I haven't used it yet, but my "exit" button was there yesterday. The updated version is 8.8.630424. Not sure what I was on before, but pretty sure it was 8.7 something (Pre-CoolWalk anyway)

If I need to get out, I usually just hit the small speaker symbol button (physical button, not touchscreen) below the screen. That will open the audio source menu and you can navigate around from there.

All that does for me is shut off the audio. Doesn't exit from anything.

If you press the volume knob, that turns off audio. Press the speaker button next to it and that'll take you to the audio settings (equalizer, fade/balance, etc.). To the left of the back button on the bottom row.

Thanks, I misunderstood which button you were referring to. I'm on Android Auto 8.7. Someone else in this thread just upgraded from 8.7 to 8.8. Hopefully there will be an update for my Galaxy S10e.

I just checked mine on both vehicles. On the Maverick, the Exit button is still there. On the Toyota Sienna, the Exit button is gone, but is replaced with a "Toyota" button, with the Toyota logo in it that exits out of AA and puts me back to the Toyota Home screen. The Toyota also has a physical button that will take me to the Toyota home screen while leaving AA running in background. Something I really miss on the Maverick.

Still no CoolWalk even with 8.8, but at least I'm on the new version now, so hopefully it gets switched on for me soon.

I think the physical button is even better than an Exit button in AA. Exits AA and places you in the Sources screen. Nice!

Thanks. I'm finding it easier to just press the button with the speaker icon, just below the screen.
