Apple Carplay works fantastically well in my Lariat Hybrid. In fact, the entire system in the Mav puts the system in the Ridgeline to shame.

I have Sirius radio in my Lariat Lux. When connected to Android Auto it plays through the phone app. If I delete the phone app and Sirius is playing in the Mav it continues when I plug in the phone and android auto starts. If I try to do anything else with music the radio version stops and there is no way I found to get back to Sirius without unplugging the phone and starting over. Anyone have a solution. I want Sirius and also Maps in the big screen.

Okay, so I am trying to find out if there is a way to wirelessly connect AND use android auto for nav and everything else. I found a wireless charger that facilitates data transfer as well and have contacted the manufacturer to ask if it might be able to do so in a vehicle vs form phone to laptop, and am awaiting a response.
Let us know what you find out [please]...

Can you push "exit" on the android auto launcher and select the Sirius source in the SYnc3 interface? That's how I get terrestrial radio when using AA on my non-Sync3 XLT.

Also, you should be able to remove the Sirius app just from the AA launcher, and keep it on the phone. Have you tried doing that?

I'll try that. I want to use Sirius on the radio so I don't use phone data. I like Maps or Waze on the big screen,

Yeah. You should be able to select the Sync app after you press "exit" and then return to AA for maps. If it continues to try to go back to the phone app, try removing it from the AA home screen (which can be done in the AA settings on your phone).

I stated before that I totally agree. Just wish whoever the stupid people are who decided your cellphone should be silent if connected to Bluetooth were terminated with prejudice.

Same except I dug out the original cable that came with my phone instead of buying new and everything is working great now

Just hooked up my Galaxy S22+ and it works great with the Android Auto. Even better than my old S20 FE.

Just tried this and it appears to work. Android Auto using maps. If you are already listening to Sirius XM it will continue until you switch to another source. Then can't get back. Use the MENU button and scroll to audio and pick Sirius. Music will pick up same channel. If you pick FM it will play the FM station you last used. Haven't figured how to switch channels as it askes you to install Sirius app. The FM part may work with LX and XLT bus need Lariat Lux for Sirius and the subscription.

It's probably in here somewhere, but I haven't found it. Can I use Android Auto for navigation with Bluetooth or do I have to be connected with a USB cable? For me it works with a cable, buy not with Bluetooth (yet).

I've had my Maverick for 10 days now and the Android Auto is so glitchy that its literally safer to just use my phone while I drive. Multiple times I've had google maps simply end the navigation in the middle of a drive out of nowhere, and a few times even navigating to an entire different place despite tapping on the correct destination multiple times. Forcing me to either try to figure it out while I'm driving or just unplugging my phone and using it instead.

While listening to Spotify with navigation going it goes black for a couple seconds and the audio stops before the screen comes back on and resumes multiple times within a few minutes.

In short, its literally unusable and causes massive distractions and/or accidental detours.

Does anybody else experience issues like this? If so do you think its a software issue that can be patched by Ford remotely, or just a problem with my phone?
Absolutely agree July 2022 Nothing but issues freezes and poor performance requiring resets. really bad experience with the infotainment system,
