Android Auto Error Message When Starting my 25 Maverick Lariat

For the past week, I receive an error message on my screen after starting my 25 Lariat stating "error Android Auto." Haven't had any issues since taking possession of the truck in January 25. Anybody else having this issue? I searched for any recent posts on Android Auto issues on the forum and found none.

Mine occasionally has a connection error over Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, but always remedies itself on the next start up.

I can say the exact same thing as Cycopath said. Only occasionally.

Android Auto is very buggy in general. I usually just restart my phone if I can't get it to connect during a trip.

Try Uninstalling AA on your phone and reinstall. Also reboot your phone.

I've got a 25 Lariat also and it does it occasionally, but then so does my 23 Escape Phev.
When I get the message I just plug in direct to the usb till I get a chance to reboot my phone. 9 times outta 10 that fixes it for the next trip.

If you are getting an Android Auto error it might help to state which phone you are using - so, I have a older Pixel 6 Pro and have not yet seen any issues with Android Auto (used wirelessly) at all.

Good point. Samsung S24. Should have mentioned it initially.

Very true. I've got a S25. Looks like Samsung is batting a 1000.

Googling this seems to indicate it's not just a problem for Maverick owners.

Also some folks just force the phone to update Google Play services and it works. IDK, don't have a Samsung so - can only guess.

I have an S25 and my wife has an S24. They have been pretty good at connecting. Occasionally the 25 doesn't connect, but I don't get an error.
