My 2023 XL experienced a major issue this morning. After starting the truck (with the key) and letting it run for ~ 5 minutes to warm up due to the cold, I tried to drive and as I released the parking brake and tried shifting into drive, the drive system froze up. I received the error message "SHIFT SYS FAULT Confirm Park Brake Apply Brake Before Exiting the Vehicle". Now I am unable to rotate the shift dial, the orange LED light next to "P" is flashing, and I am unable to remove the ket from the ignition. The dealership has been contacted and will be towed for further inspection. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas or suggestions what may have caused this issue? Thank you in advance for any response.
