We just picked up our second Maverick Lariat Lux. And yes, they are nearly identical twins. The only difference is the latest one has the 4K Tow package that got missed in the original order back in June of 2021.

I would like give a Great Big Shoutout to James Geralds and all the folks at Don Franklin Ford if Columbia, KY. They have been really good to work with and tolerated my many calls and question while I was waiting on the first truck. (I didn’t bother them nearly so much on the second one.)

The first Mav was delivered right at five months after ordering. The second one (ordered in Aug. 2021) took nearly twice as long nine months.

I wish everyone out here who had to deal with dirtbag dealers, we’ve heard so much about, could have had our experience.

Y’all have probably seen a lot of my add-on accessories post, so I will restrain from repeating all of that with this one, but I intend to add the same accessories to this one aswell. Less the Angry Elephant bed racks. I’m just going to move those.

Saw my first Velocity Blue on the road the other day. It looked great !!! Now if mine would actually be built one day. Ordered a base hybrid xl with only a drop in bedliner in October. Sales guy told me between March and August delivery. Almost to the point of end of August delivery as of now.

Great story. I have a hybrid ordered from July 1 still in the oven. Assuming that I have the same warm experience that you did at my dealer, I am going to order a 2023 on August 25. Next time going with the Ecoboost. We have that in our 2021 Titanium Edge and really like it.
