Well the wait is over. Reserved a First Edition Lariet in June 2021. Got the order in 9/1/21. Had only an unsigned order sheet with $500 deposit. Ordered First Edition, Lariet with Luxury Package and Ford 360, in Area 51. Then the wait began. No emails directly from Ford. Only info was from customer service telephone line. Was asked by Ford in February to take items off order to get quicker delivery. My dealer manager said hang in there. Made no order changes. Vin number finally appeared in mid July. Build date mid Sept. 7 days to build. 40 days to get from Mexico to NJ. Tracked via Norfolk Southern phone system. Corresponded via email to Dealer Manager concerning price protection and incentive protection. He said not to worry, but offered nothing in writing. Car arrived at dealer this week. Got 48 months at .9%. Price was the original price agreed on, not the higher sticker price with December price increases. Only dealer add on was Window etching for 199. They offered warranty extension from Ford at $200 over cost, but still more than Granger. Walked out the door with truck , no hassle, no surprises, price and incentive protected. Well that's my story....Now the fun part......drive the truck!
