There is - by running that VIN through a database. There is no way to determine the trim level of the Maverick by just the VIN. I had a 2015 Nissan Leaf which was the same way, and my GA title listed it as Nissan Leaf S SL SV. I'm assuming my Maverick's title will be the same way.
I agree. Which digit of the Vin denotes the trim level? There is no way to determine the trim level of the Maverick by just the VIN. I had a 2015 Nissan Leaf which was the same way, and my GA title listed it as Nissan Leaf S SL SV. I'm assuming my Maverick's title will be the same way.

Correct, no sales tax just TAVT on a motor vehicle in Georgia................................
No, it was replaced by the sales tax which we never paid when we had the ad-valorum tax. Six of one/half dozen of the other. I keep vehicles for several years, so it works out. If you buy and sell often, it hurts. You guys still have that ad-volarum (sp?) tax?
It doesn't have to work that way.I agree. Which digit of the Vin denotes the trim level?
Semantics…. Personal property taxThey charge a vehicle tax, sure. "Property tax" refers to real estate 99% of the time.
Florida also has a "No-fault clause so we have to pay for all the unnsured drivers to cover medical costs. To you guys talking about taxes, at least you don't have to deal with Michigan's outrageously expensive no-fault auto insurance...
It's gotten better the last few years, but still unjustifiably exorbitant.
I think your assessment of an incorrect database is the most logical answer.I live in Anderson,In
I purchased mine in April and I had the same situation happen.
I had to take her out to the truck and show her.
Something wrong with their data base.
They fixed mine after I went back a second time.
Correct. I found a Vin "decoder" on Ford-truck.com that list's all kinds of information, including trim, on my 2002 Explorer. Not sure how accurate it is. It says my truck has fog lights but it does not.Not to pile on, but per the VIN decoder posted here, the trim level is not included in the VIN. However comma, there could indeed be some magical Ford database that correlates Sequential Vehicle Identifiers (the last 6 characters of the VIN) with the trim of that particular vehicle.
