That's a nice looking truck. I think it's better than the all-black everything. I mean, in moonlight, no one can tell that Alto Blue isn't black.

But in the daylight, the very dark blue works well with BAP. (y)

Goose has finally arrived. Ordered September last year, picked up two days ago.
2023, 2.5 L Hybrid, XLT, Alto Blue Metallic, Black Appearance Package, power moon roof

Truck is fantastic and worth the wait. Alto blue is a cool color that seems to change depending on the light. Sometimes looks blue, sometimes black - see pics. Love the black out appearance package - rims are just a little too shiny though. But the grill and interior are very sleek and mirrors/door handles are a nice touch.

This doesn't look very good...water drops and it is in the garage. Looks like dimples, but that's just the picture. I'll eventually get new lugnuts, but these have been on for about 2000 miles of driving and 2600 miles of towing.

I think these are a good stop gap solution but replacing the lug nuts seems to be a better way to go. I just can’t ignore the reviews I see of the paint not being very durable on the black lug nuts. How to keep them from becoming all marred up. Finally are these two piece really the problem some make them out to be? Maybe for now I’ll just try those covers.

The 2-piece lugnuts can be an issue...but I still have them on my 2017 C-Max and they are not swolen. Most of the black lugnuts I have found so far do not have the same factory seat as the original...or are way too damned expensive for now. I'll eventually find a set I think will last at a reasonable price. Until then, this is just for looks and I think they look better.

So I have my caps on and they look decent. I forgot that I had read somewhere they don't completely cover the entire surface of the chrome nut but it still looks better. What's with the removal tool? I can pull mine off by hand with no issue.

Yes...that tool is completely unnecessary. I liked that they provided extra caps, but none of mine have fallen off yet.
