So I picked up my 2023 Cactus Gray Maverick on 01/04/23 and I have already started the modifications/add-ons. So to start I put on a tonneau cover, Klutchtech Hood Struts, and a start-x remote start module. I have an appointment tomorrow to have the front windows tinted and a tint strip added to the front windshield. I have lots of plans for this truck as I grew up in the time of mini trucks but could never afford one. Most of the mods will be audio wise, however I am looking at lowering it, and adding my TSW 20inch wheels to it. For now the factory wheels will remain on.

For now here are some photo's.

And these are the 20 inch wheels I have from my previous ford edge.

RIght now I am still in the planning stages but it will be something like a PAC AmpPro adaption kit to convert the speaker outputs to run to a DSP to a 4 channel amp for the components up front and a mono block for the subs.

The back seat area is where the big changes will happen, rear seat removed, batteries put in the cubby locations and I will build a custom floor for the sub box to rest on. I am planning on 2 15s ported tuned in the low 30s for daily driving.

This is very similar to what I had in my IASCA world record holding Silverado.

I wish someone would make some boxes to drop under the rear seat. Figured they'd have some by now 😢

I put my tonneau cover on but didn't post a good picture of it, so here are a couple. I got this on amazon on black friday sale for only $169+tax. Fits very well and does exactly what it should, I personally prefer the tri-fold style. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2L9TZXM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

And of course my personalized tag, that I have had on many of my audio built vehicles.

I do have a few more thing arriving this weekend, including Husky floor liners, infotainment screen protector, trailer hitch plug, tailgate letters (black) and a dash cam hardwire kit.

Spent 3+ hours doing a decontamination wash, fine grade clay bar, sealant and then a ceramic top coat. Truck is as slick as glass now. Also had the front windows tinted and a front strip.

I'll look out for you in the area since I'll recognize your plate. I'm in Altamonte so close to you.

Yikes -- you put that in your Maverick, you'll blow it to smithereens. :)

Great-looking truck (very similar to mine)! I am jealous you have sunshine and warmth there in Florida. It's almost always cold and gray during the winter here in Pennsylvania. Makes it a lot harder to get out there and do the mods.
