I’m going to give one of these a try also. Hope to have it next weekend, picking up from FB marketplace. Hes had it since October, but can’t haul his bike with the cap on

Tried to stick a magnet to a few different places on my topper today. It would not stick anywhere, including the tie down pieces on top. I assume (yes, I know what that means!) that it is all aluminum. The shipping weight was 155 lbs. Including cardboard and sheets in-between each piece. DO NOT leave the side or rear door open after dark and walk around the truck! It will get your attention quickly.

A few thoughts on this topper:
1. The rear window is darker than I would like.
2. Sliding windows are available, just not from the company I used.
3. The coating seems to be very thin. (like the Maverick paint!)
4.If I had to do it over again, I would, no doubt!
A word of advice: Check with several companies before deciding on one. Different companies have different options available. Sliding side windows is the one I miss the most.

Very dark rear window
Paint job does seem thin
Installing on the truck: leave the mounts loose and tighten all at once after fitted (holes don’t all line up perfect)

Looks good. Mine came with 12 keys. The bottom seal is a double bulb seal. Took it thru the car wash yesterday. No leaks so far.
The one I got came from AliExpress
Just a tad different than alibaba
Gonna take off and try to redo the seal tomorrow.
I “bent” the six tie downs in the middle, as they wouldn’t clamp down anything as the top hit the bottom of the topper, really couldn’t get them tight without what I did
Got them tight and then took off the front clamp set up to put my tie down rails back in (required some modifications to get the holes lined up on both the tie down rails and the brackets: carbide bit on Dremel does wonders)
And now can only get one of the two bolts back in (holes misaligned) also have to hook up the brake light, but not sure about doing it since it’s a white and not red light? Might just hook it up to my cargo lights? Actually can’t hook it up to brake lights here in Ohio since it’s not red, cargo lights it’s gonna be
