Hi-

I would like to order one of these but Im not really sure how to do it. Was hoping I could get a quick tutorial before jumping in... or maybe its super simple and Im overthinking. Anyone have experience ordering one?

I have one, I paid a guy for assembly. Caulking all the joints with Sika flex and probably 50 bolts and nuts. I think the aluminum is way better than fiberglass. The anchor points on the roof are awesome. It's completely water tight the hydraulics for the doors are good the third brake light is great. I would check for guys importing them and pay for assembly. They have likely learned a few lessons you won't have to. It's already so cheap adding 300-500 bucks for assembly from the flat pack is worth it. The guy I hired sent back a flat pack box cuz customs ripped apart the container in Vancouver and damaged it. Mine took 4 months from ordering. Mavericks are one of the only 4.5 foot boxes so they're not very common to keep in stock.

First quote is for 1200. I have a quote for 1000, but am waiting to get confirmation its the correct size. Evidently its a big holiday in China and lots of people are off.

It looks like its the correct size. The price has jump 100+ in a day.

FYI for alibaba- us and chinese workdays overlap by only a few hours. I get great responses for the first part of my day, and things go dead and I find my messages answered when I wake up. Other than we're obviously on opposite sides of the planet, everyone has been responsive.

Other than it is not the easiest for one person to remove and replace and the bed seals tends to be on the thick side. The first time you install it. You may need a helper to sit or stand on top.

I'm so tempted to buy one of these! $1600CAD shipped to Toronto, but am worried about quality and actually getting it.

Will hold off, but will continue following to see how people are happy with theirs.

Some guys in the GTA are selling them for $3300 assembled...so basically double the price of buying direct...but hopefully without the hassle.
