The design is super clean and fits very well. I think the term “flare” may not fit as much as “trim” on these. I don’t see them being any wider, besides the width of the plastic, which I would think is more of a trim. Flare normally means it’s making it noticeably wider which doesn’t look like the case. Either way they look great and like the should have been part of an FX4 package or something to toughen up the look. Very nice 👍🏼

They look good. They do make the tires look smaller, but that may just be me looking for an excuse for bigger tires. Lol

Just put on some fender flares (the Air Design Satin ones) and figured I'd post how it looks as I haven't seen many photos with this style of fender flare:

Note that the stock mud flaps won't work with this style fender flare as the lip that goes over the body of the truck won't allow it.

I've also got the AVS bug deflector which went on pretty smoothly and no hood shake:

These are much more stylish than previous ones I've seen with the "bolts" exposed. But, "style" is one of those subjective things, right?

Thank you for posting the photos, especially the Cactus Grey. I've only seen photos on the Ford site of these installed with a rear perspective. Seeing a profile with them on the front of the vehicle changes the look for me.

Definitely up in the air... it's a completely different look on the Alto Blue vs Cactus Grey...

Great look! These are the wheel flares I'm likely going to be installing when my Maverick arrives. I have always had one question, do these fender flares protect the inner lip of the wheel arch from rock chips/rusting, is it fully covered?

Thanks!
They definitely do on the rear wheel, and on the front it is a little thinner. Thisis the rear wheel, you can see the lip extends a good amount and it's like that all around it.

Here is the front wheel, in the picture you can see a little sliver of the body that is uncovered as it isn't as wide, but that little dark sliver is the only thing I can see for the front wheels.

Very nice looking, I’m really liking the look of those on the Maverick, did you find anyone that discounts the price to a more reasonable amount? I have a white XLT ordered when the order banks opened and really like the look of the air design wheel flares and hope to put them on mine when I get it. I’m also considering getting the air design door protectors but am undecided if it will look too much. I’ll have to check out the bug deflector, is it stuck down like most of the other ones?
I picked it up when there was a 20% off sale, but I'm sure you could find it cheaper from another vendor. The bug deflector bolts into existing holes under your hood and sits above the leading edge of the hood so you don't stick it to the hood.

Looks GREAT
I might have to get a set for my Lariat.
Just received my first, I'm sorry letter from Ford..LoL...that it's taken so long.
So I probably have months to go...
But it's ok got a F 250 and Great Fusion to drive until it shows up.
At this age I know to be patient!!

I'm so glad you posted this BEFORE I bought mine. I love the look but I already have the mud flaps. I can't justify the cost of the flares added to the loss of the mud flaps price. This goes on the back burner for now.

Well, I never noticed until last night, that my wife’s 2022 hybrid Ford Escape SE has these same type of smooth fender flares on her SUV. I stood there for a few minutes looking back and forth between my Hot Pepper Red hybrid Maverick Lariat and her Eacape and trying to envision the smooth flares on my truck, and determine if that’s the look I want to achieve or not. After sleeping on it last night, my vision became clear this morning. I’m going to put the Bushwacker ones on my truck, as I want a more rugged look. Real truck dot com has the set of four for $399. I’m going to order them. I haven’t found a cheaper price anywhere else.
