Hi, This HOOD SCOOP; do you have to remove part of the hood (drilling or cutting), Is this a functional air cooling accessory?. Or it is just for a better appearance. : )

If you life in the rust belt and hold on to your vehicle long enough some of the items become a must have to hide the rust.... especially fender flares

Same. I'm going to get a driveline stretcher and pull the wheels backwards until centered.

It's the Ford one made by air design, Ford has it for $400 but you can look around and can find it closer to $300

Would you be able to provide a measurement of the length of the hood scoop? I have the factory installed PPF film and want to determine if the scoop would overlap at all (and therefore not adhere properly). It looks like it would be close but would like to know before I order it. Thanks!
