Hey there. I can look into your Maverick’s AC concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

We had some abnormally nice weather yesterday, so I flicked my AC off and also noticed I kept getting cold air coming through the vents. I pushed OFF the temp button over on the right, and it stopped the cold air but I was then getting what I assumed was vent air from just the movement of the truck? Now, how to turn off even THAT, I'm not sure. I would have assumed turning off both AC button and the temp button would have totally shut it down? Haven't had another opportunity to experiment yet. My very LIMITED time spent with the owners manual makes me think it is the computer deciding there's enough difference between outside and inside temp that it essentially "knows better than you" and continues to try to get to a comfy temp for a moment. I could be wrong.

Yes, I have had the same issue, when I start my truck and shut off the a/c, I notice some times cold air comes out during my drive, it seems to cycle on and off 4-5 times during my 25 mile drive.

Among only Ford knows what else it will periodically run the condenser and circulate air to lower the humidity to prevent fogging of windows. (The humidistat is indicating that the relative humidity is close to the dew point!).
