Is there any way to adjust the front camera so that it activates earlier? Now it activates only a few feet from the garage wall.

The front camera for collision detection and Lane keep assist/lane centering?

How do you know it's not turning on?

It is turning on because I can see the image on the screen but it turns on only within a couple of feet of the garage wall when parking the truck. If possible, I would like it to turn on a little bit further from the wall.

Sounds like 360 cameras not able to change distance settings.

Reading, it appears the parking aid sensors would trigger the cameras on.
Ultrasonic sensors on front bumper have limited range, about 23 to 27 inches.

Audible Parking Aid System Operation

The front parking aid system calculates the distance to an object around the front of the vehicle using 4 ultrasonic sensors.
The front parking aid sensors detect objects approximately 70 cm (27 in) from the front of the vehicle, 60 cm (23 in) from the front edge of the vehicle, down to the height of the bumper.

Visual Park Aid Alert
The visual park aid alert feature displays a visual highlight in the zone where an object has been detected by the parking aid system.
This feature utilizes the parking aid sensor data from the IPMA to generate the visual highlights on the video image.

360 Degree View Camera - Camera Features
The following features are driver selectable:
• Visual park aid alert — allows the driver to see the objects causing the parking aid system to sound.
• Manual zoom — allows the driver to manually zoom the image.
• Rear view camera delay — allows the driver to see the image behind the vehicle after the vehicle is shifted out of reverse (R) into any gear other than park (P).

To my knowledge the parking sensors are set by ford with no adjustments available to owners. I have no idea if the forscan software stuff can adjust it. According to my MY22 owners manual it mentions:
The rear parking aid sensors are active
when your vehicle is in reverse (R) and the
vehicle speed is less than 5 mph (8 km/h).
The sensor coverage area is up to 71 in
(180 cm) from the rear bumper.
A warning tone sounds when your vehicle
approaches an object. As your vehicle
moves closer to an object, the rate of the
tone increases. The warning tone
continuously sounds when an object is 12 in
(30 cm) or less from the rear bumper.

There is a push button under the smart screen that allows you to manually turn on the front camera

Good Deal, must be another new feature in the MY25's. If the MY25 owners manual doesn't show a means of adjusting it, I assume it set by ford like the sensors were in older model years. Good Luck to OP in finding a positive answer.

I think the only solution is to turn it on manually.

Just know once its on and you are trying to park you wont see the 360 view at all. And it wont revert back to it automatically. You have to exit the front camera and then manually select the optional cameras.

When I get close, I press the button. I use it a lot when pulling into a spot and don’t want to hit the curb. And when I’m lazy and want to quickly get the front edge of a normal spot.

I think the button only activates the front camera under 5 mph (can't remember the actual number) when driving on the highway, it uses the rear camera automatically. You can also change the "mode" once it is turned on to see other cams.
