Adding one touch window switch to XL

Has anyone tried adding the switch panel from a lariat to a lower trim level and used ForScan to enable the one touch up/down feature to the windows?

I didn't realize how convenient this feature was until I had to go without it. Seems like it should be easy but haven't seen any write-ups yet on the forum.

Brought up many times. Nobody seems to have done it yet.

You'd need new window switches for every relevant door, new window regulators in each door, and the wiring harnesses are different. You don't have the hardware for it otherwise.

It's not trivial - the motor assemblies and wiring harnesses are completely different.

Sure, with OEM components it's hard to do.
