Account on Ford.com and order update

I created an account on Ford.com a while ago. My order does not show up there when I click on "My Orders" and I am not able to add the order to the account.

The vehicle is showing as "in production" and I have both an order number and a VIN, but I can only see these things when following a text message I received a few weeks ago.

When I click on "add vehicle" in my account I just get a white box saying "undefined". Has anyone had any success seeing an order on their account or should I just do it the old fashioned way and wait for my local dealer to tell me where things are at? Is the Ford.com account useful at all during the time from order to delivery?

I love Ford. Had everything from 70 mustang, 78 LTD II (wife's) and a bunch of trucks. Recently, I bought a Maverick. I needed a bed cover. Chose a folding, soft top. Initially told it would be delivered to the dealer in 3 days. Great!! During the next 30 days I was told it was lost in transit, wrong one was sent to dealer, and finally they couldn't get one from the manufacturer. I tried to cancel the order and mysteriously the bed top appears at the dealer.

I suggest you contact Ford customer service.
It may be the system was not designed for access to a vehicle being built or maybe it's a glitch.
They should be able to tell you either way.
