Account on Ford.com and order update

I created an account on Ford.com a while ago. My order does not show up there when I click on "My Orders" and I am not able to add the order to the account.

The vehicle is showing as "in production" and I have both an order number and a VIN, but I can only see these things when following a text message I received a few weeks ago.

When I click on "add vehicle" in my account I just get a white box saying "undefined". Has anyone had any success seeing an order on their account or should I just do it the old fashioned way and wait for my local dealer to tell me where things are at? Is the Ford.com account useful at all during the time from order to delivery?
