2022 XL Ecoboost. After backing out of the driveway, there seems to be a long delay before she starts moving forward. This is not a case of still moving backwards. Back up, full stop with break. Press gas to go forward, a normal amount of pedal pressure does nothing for what seems like a second. If more pressure is given, it still waits that long, but goes through a loud acceleration.

Acceleration is fine from a stop sign, or traffic light.

It's really annoying. Is this something they program for XL? Is this fixable on the dashboard, or with Forscan?

Could be a transmission/fluid level issue.

That's just the time it takes for the transmission to switch from reverse to forward.

A second seems like a normal amount time for it to shift from reverse to drive/first to me.
